A day out’s advice from the cards.

A photo of yesterday’s reading and the last time with this deck until next year.  I’ve thoroughly enjoyed using it for the short time I’ve had it so look forward to it making an appearance next year. (it’s a recent addition to my collection).

Anyway... back to the reading...

We were booked on a day out to the arboretum and it was absolutely bucketing with rain. I asked the cards what my day would be like as we were considering whether it would be worth it to go and should we perhaps find something else to do.

The cards said 1. Morning - There is uncertainty in the unknown, but 2. Afternoon - If we didn’t go we’d be thinking about everyone else’s enjoyment while and what the possibilities might be and so feel deflated, and 3. Evening - We’d be cosy inside enjoying the warmth and contentment in spending the day well while others battle the chilly winds as they make their way door to door in their fancy dress.

The great thing about this deck is that the images tell a story so easily.

We did go. Yes there was a great chance for the weather to spoil the day, and it did rain but not at the times where it affected us. We enjoyed our picnic just as planned and came home in the early evening to be cosy and enjoy the wild weather while the neighbourhood children ran about ‘trick or treating’.

It was a good day and the lesson is that sometimes things will be unknown but you won’t know the possibilities if you don’t get out there and see what is offered.
