New Arrival - The Mystical Cats Tarot

So this morning, there was an anticipated knock at the door and The Mystical Cats Tarot has arrived.  I've been looking forward to this deck for a long time, not because it's taken ages to come in the post, but rather i've been wanting a cat themed deck for years.  I am a cat lover and we have two in the family, however that's not the reason for the deck and i'm not about to do readings for my cats as someone asked me recently.  No, the reason is that the graceful, serene, mysterious energy accompanied with the feisty, observant and playful energy is what i'd like to work with and explore.  There has been much investigation of the various decks available but time and again I was drawn back to this one because the gentle imagery is what most appealed to me and additionally will set the mood or atmosphere within which i'd like to explore.

I may do a first impressions post in the coming days and may even venture into making a video but will see whether I can get my act and equipment together and try not to sound too nervous.  Maybe or maybe not......

Lucky me - The Fool Silver Pendant

Two weeks ago I wrote about my excitement at hearing that I was going to received a beautiful tarot pendant from Lori of Inner Goddess Tarot.


Well the parcel arrived from Canada last week and because I was on my way out it had wait for me to get back.  I'm not going to lie and say I didn't want to get into the parcel quickity quick because I really did but the moment had to be savoured.








It was beautifully and carefully packaged and my delight at receiving The Fool........well this is so relevant for me right now.  I'd written to Lori about how i'm in a new phase of my life and building up the courage to take a leap of faith and step off that cliff into an adventure and making some ideas come to fruition.  This pendant is my reminder and my inspiration.

Even better, the pendant fits perfectly on my necklace that that's worn everyday, with different pendants depending on my needs or mood.

So excited! Last night I received a Facebook message from Lori at Inner Goddess Tarot to say that i'd won the silver handpainted pendant in her recent contest. I've never won anything.....ever! As you can imagine i'm thrilled and thank her so much for the gift and also being such an inspiration. I will share a photo of the pendant when it arrives.

Parcel Delivery! - Crystal Visions Tarot and Around the Tarot in 78 Days

I've been waiting ever so patiently for these parcels to arrive and they did, just in time for the weekend.

I've been good and not opened the cards just yet, only having a brief flip through the book but it looks great so can't wait to get reading.  Reading is a great love of mine, especially when it comes to Tarot, with no particular leaning or affiliation to any one author or viewpoint in the subject.  It's a big, beautiful, varied world out there on the subject of Tarot which makes it so interesting.

The Crystal Visions Tarot has been out for a while now and after having seen it on various blogs and Youtube discussions the more I saw and heard about it the more the pull to work with it myself, so i'm really looking forward to that.
