We only saw two of these red spotted toadstools the entire walk although there were plenty other fungi growing on logs and trees.

Tall and straight. The trees from the Forest of Dean were grown and used to to supply masts for Tall Ships.

We came across lots of these little dwellings amongst the trees.

At the end of our walk we enjoyed a picnic lunch and finished it off with these lollies as a sweet treat. The web lolly is liquorice flavoured and the spider lolly is peppermint flavoured. You can buy them at Tiger.
