The Wheel of the Year Tarot De-bordered

Not so long ago I wrote about finally adding the the Wheel of the Year Tarot deck to my collection, you can read that post here.

In the post I mentioned my dislike of the borders and shared my plans to remove them.

Well here is the deck now, minus the borders and oh what a difference.  Even though a small portion of the image on the back of the cards is lost, it was a sacrifice worth making because you don't spend too much time looking at the back anyway.  I opted to edge the deck in bronze, using a metallic bronze Sharpie pen.  This deck read like a dream even when it had the distracting borders but reads even better now.   Just love it.

  1. It looks so much better now Karen. I know what you mean about things blocking smooth reading (I'm thinking about your thoughts on the coloured lines on your earlier post), key words finish me off. The publishers might as well just build a wall in front of me. I can't see past them. I've never yet had the courage to trim though....
